Review Dragona Pastel Spring Luluna Sling

Luluna Slings - Dragona Pastel Spring
100% Algodão Penteado
320 g/m2
T6

Luluna Slings - Dragona Pastel Spring
100% Combed Cotton
320 g/m2
T6

Luluna Slings was created by a group of friends, with many years of experience in the industry of babywearing, whit the purpose of creating beautiful wraps and truly unique, that convey joy, love and heartwarming memories associated to great moments of parenthood. These wraps are made in the European Union, in conformity with the Oeki-Tex Standard 100 Rules, and parameters such as the strings type, thickness, weaving density and degree of torsion which are meticulously controlled to guarantee it’s quality.

Although i was looking at the Brands website, for a while this was the first Luluna i had the chance of trying.  When i held it for the first time i was disappointed… a T6 (wich for me was huge) thick, heavy and poorly malleable. How was i to tame this little beast?!
On the other, a little Clara loved the wrap, from the first time she layed eyes on it stretching her arms as if she was asking to be carried. It could only be a good sign!

Through the pictures i found the pattern and the colors very interesting, but only when i held it in my hands i could really realize how it beautiful it was. It has an excellent color contrast with a blue background and a degrade pattern between green, a very nice pink and blue. The shapes are very organic which combined with the chosen colors, create a true tribute to Spring.

This is a 100% combed cotton wrap, which gives it a nice brilliance and softness that you feel at the first touch. For now, and maybe because it’s not yet broken in, it’s not a tender or fluffy wrap, when you held it it’s thick and heavy, however, contrary to what i thought, it’s very easy to wear and, most important of all, super comfortable.
The Dragona Pastel Spring is dense and i didn’t found it too hot for the Spring days, however it’s hardly the best choice for the hot Summer days. Troughout the week we tested this Luluna i never felt the need to wear carries with more than one layer. It’s a very resistant wrap, with a medium diagonal, good grip and lots of support, allowing to maintain a perfect carry for a long time and without any discomfort (which for me is a crucial!). It’s perfect for bigger babies, toddlers and sensitive shoulders.
Clara, with her initial enthusiasm, was absolutely right, this wrap exceeded my expectations after all! I thought that i liked soft and fluffy wraps but this experience proved me that it may not be exactly so…

Being this wrap so related to Spring, i just had to wear it in little Claras first trip to the beach. Lalunas objective was therefore clearly fulfilled, this wrap, dispite it’s short time with us, marked an important moment in our family.
We chose a beach in Serra da Arrábida, that is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, where i think we managed to capture in photos the beauty of this Dragona.

I belive this wil be an amazing wrap after some use. Time flew this week and my only regret is that i can’t keep it any longer. I’ll have to separate me from this wonderful wrap in hope that soon i’ll have another Luluna with me.
